Major modern and contemporary art returns to Rome with "Roma Arte in Nuvola” from 18 to 21 November 2021, initially scheduled for mid-May 2020 and later canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The fair will be held in the beautiful setting of the Rome Convention Center "La Nuvola" a spectacular building recently designed by world renowned architect, Massimiliano Fuksas.
An ambitious project that aims to fill a void on the Roman art scene and to become the reference hub for art collecting in Central and Southern Italy, thanks to the direction of Alessandro Nicosia, an expert in the organization of cultural events for over 30 years.
Art Media will be represented, from painting to installations, from sculpture to the performing arts, from video-art to digital art, as well as street-art, bringing together the most important and renowned Italian and international galleries.
It is high time for Rome to come forward on the international scene with a platform connecting modern and contemporary art and promoting new artistic trends. Its special position enables Rome to acquire a leading and propelling role in Southern Europe and in the whole of the Mediterranean area.
We aim at producing a project taylormade for the Eternal City, its identity and its compelling power.
Italian and international galleries will be presenting major artists and the latest art trends. The fair will include also a program of special initiatives (installations, exhibition, etc.).
The fair aims to be a laboratory for the coexistence of different languages and realities (galleries, foundations, institutions etc.), offering a voice to the sometimes unfulfilled needs of the art system, fostering links with international companies, moving on the edge of a variety of artistic codes and involving all parties to offer the public a complete mosaic of the current state of art and its potentiality.
